Waking up with a headache is bad. Waking up with a headache in a room you don't recognize, finding yourself tied to a bed, and hearing the soft buzz of some type of power equipment in the next room - worse.

Smell is the most evocative sense, and the smells on this particular silvery moonlit night evoke a lot. Maybe too much.
Author's Note: Older and reflective of time spent in Northern New England. I liked experimenting here with vernacular, and a few childhood memories.
